Meet Kajuana

Kajuana Marie is a multicultural actress who originated the role of

Young Nala in the Broadway musical the Lion King. At just 10 years

old Marie was the youngest member of the ensemble, and quickly

transitioned into a successful TV/Film career, performing

alongside veteran actors like Alfre Woodard, Loretta

Devine, Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington.Upon graduating

high school, Marie went the collegiate route where

she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science In

Community Health. Marie’s college experience influenced her first

written piece, and helped land bigger opportunities behind the camera

producing content for respected tv networks. In 2020 Marie

co-created, wrote, and executive produced AMC’s ALLBLK popular

franchise series Terror Lake Drive, which is now going into its third season.

In the same year one of Marie’s long term goals had been checked

when she landed a guest starring role on Tyler Perry’s “The OVAL”.

Marie loves dancing between acting & writing, her company K-Zone

Entertainment continues to create opportunities for writers and

actors in the entertainment industry.

"Kajuana is a dynamic actress with the rare talent to play more than what is described on the page- she goes above and beyond to make these characters her own. She brings passion and intelligence to each role she plays- you'll be remembering the characters she creates long after you've finished watching.
~ Scotty Mullen
(WGA TV/Film Writer)

"Kajuana brought a difficult character to life. I created an amazing bond with her on set, and she gave us wonderful range throughout the movie."

~ Sara Selligman (Director of  Tubi Original Movie "Safe Word”)

"I've had the pleasure of working with Kajuana in multiple settings. As someone who Directed her, and collaborated as both a Producer and Writer, the word that comes to mind is consistent. Kajuana consistently shows up with energy, passion and professionalism regardless of the hat she's wearing. Her artistry is a gift that she truly enjoys sharing."

~ Chad Quinn (Writer/Director "For the Love of Musiq")
